August is not only about the moon in Santorini but about excellent performances as well.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Saturday 10\/8:<\/strong><em>\u00a0The festival<\/em>\u00a0continues with the\u00a0<strong>jazz<\/strong><strong>\u00a0trio<\/strong>\u00a0of the extremely talented and internationally award-winning composer and pianist\u00a0<strong>Nikolas<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Anadolis<\/strong>, who lives and works in Boston, USA. With him, in a special concert at Megaro Gyzi,\u00a0<strong>Dimitris Goumperitsis<\/strong>\u00a0on double bass and\u00a0<strong>Sotiris<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Anadolis<\/strong>\u00a0on drums.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 13\/8:<\/strong>A melodic journey through time with the singer\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Papadopoulou<\/strong>, who interprets old and latest beloved Greek songs of the soul in a musical compilation for voice and piano, accompanied on the piano by\u00a0<strong>Neoklis<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Neofytides<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturday 17\/8:<\/strong>A musical performance is unfolded by\u00a0<strong>Demo_Deux<\/strong>, with the excellent voice of\u00a0<strong>Spyridoula<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Baka<\/strong>\u00a0being accompanied on the piano by\u00a0<strong>Anastasis<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Sarakatsanos<\/strong>, while collaborating with them\u00a0<strong>Dimitris<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Varelopoulos<\/strong>\u00a0on guitar and\u00a0<strong>Petros<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Lampridis<\/strong>\u00a0on bass. They travel us on a musical journey to timeless favorite Greek songs, as well as melodies from the Balkans, the Mediterranean, Europe and the international cinema.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 20\/8:<\/strong>The journey continues with\u00a0<strong>Spyros Manesis jazz trio<\/strong>, where two of the most important representatives of the Greek jazz scene, pianist\u00a0<strong>Spyros<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Manesis<\/strong>\u00a0and trumpeter\u00a0<strong>Andreas<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Polyzogopoulos<\/strong>, cooperate melodically with the extremely talented young bassist\u00a0<strong>Arion<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Gyftakis<\/strong>, in a unique concert at Megaro Gyzi with original compositions of them but also approaches to the traditional repertoire of jazz and its modern trends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday 23\/8:<\/strong>The festival\u0384s program is concluded withan acoustic latin evening from\u00a0<strong>Roman Gomez Quartet<\/strong>\u00a0with special guest star the great Cuban singer\u00a0<strong>Odalis Palma<\/strong>. The two brothers from Argentina,\u00a0<strong>Roman Gomez<\/strong>\u00a0(piano, bandoneon, guitar) and\u00a0<strong>Demian Gomez<\/strong>\u00a0(percussion, drums), &#8220;marry&#8221; the traditional Argentinean music with Caribbean element and Cuban rhythm.
